Campsite Rules

(Campsites are assigned upon registration)

  • No changing of sites without checking with gate staff.

  • All camps must be quiet between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

  • Pets must be caged or on a leash at all times.

  • No littering

  • No firearms or other weapons allowed.

  • No fireworks allowed.

  • No fires outside of firepots.

  • No cruising allowed.

  • All loud music, parties, etc. will not be tolerated.

  • ATVs are prohibited.

  • No horses allowed in campsites.

  • Unruly guests will not be tolerated.

Barn Rules

(Stalls and paddocks assigned upon registration)

  • All horses, in-state or out-of-state, must be accompanied by a negative Coggins test conducted within the past 12 months. (Document must clearly identify your horse.) *We reserve the right to refuse admission to any horse which does not have proof of a negative Coggins test report.

  • Do not tie horses to trees.

  • Wire, rope, or electric pens are not allowed.

  • Stakes and tethers are not allowed.

  • If your horse kicks, you must tie a red ribbon to its tail provided by you. 

  • You must clean your own stall, paddock, or picket line area and dispose of in our designated compost area.

 

Trail Rules

  • No hikers, bikers, or motorized vehicles of any kind allowed on horse trails.

  • No loose dogs on trails. 

  • No littering.

  • Stay on existing trails, respect private property, and stay out of areas marked No Trespassing.

 

For Your Safety

  • Under Alabama law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.

  • Fishing and all other water activities are done at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.

  • No hunting is allowed, however, we cannot prevent the hunting done by neighboring land owners and trespassers; therefore, wearing hunters orange during hunting seasons may help reduce the risk of accidents.

  • Dogs cause accidents. If you cannot control your pet, please leave it at home.

  • We reserve the right to dismiss any unruly guests without a refund.

  • Campers ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Immediately report any theft, loss, accident, injury, or disturbance to staff. (*We are not responsible for any theft, loss, accident, or injury.)

 

Courteousness Counts

  • Do not nail, carve, or hang anything from our trees.

  • What you pack in, please pack out.

  • Remember extra electrical cords, water hoses, pitchforks, and fly spray.
