If you are looking for a relaxing place to spend a weekend or two, come join us at the Heart of Dixie Trail Ride! Located in Troy, Heart of Dixie Trail Ride offers miles of picturesque trails through Alabama's woodland's. Amongst our trails you may enjoy the shade of chirping pine thickets and hardwood giants; the scenery of beautiful pastures, bubbling streams, and quiet duck ponds; and, not to mention, the company of the lovely Conecuh River. And if our trails run out, try the openness of some of Pike County's oldest dirt roads; they are hardly traveled and stretch for miles.

Enough of the trails, how about our camp grounds? We offer 25 campsites, with water, electricity, sewage hook-ups. We offer 50 campsites with water and electric hook-ups. There are limited cable tv hookups available. (Campsite B is without sewage and cable) for your camper/trailer. We have cabin rentals, which includes a one room cabin with beds, heat and air, microwave and mini fridge, nestled in our pines close to the bathhouse. No pets allowed in cabins. And for our primitive friends, try pitching along our serene 10 acre farm pond. Your horse, not to mention, has the option of staying in one of our 10 X 12 ft covered stalls or outdoor stalls, a large smooth wire paddock, your own portable stall, or picket line. Also to brag about is our bathhouse, insulated with heat and air. For those of you who are new to horseback riding or whose horse is new to riding, practice first in our lighted arena. We'll keep it dragged to soften the blow! Don't own a horse?  We have horses available to rent for guided rides, reservations required. And if you and horses aren't meant to be, camp anyway! On the grounds is a pavilion and a saltwater swimming pool.  We also offer fishing in our pond fully stocked with bass and bream located directly behind our Red Barn and Campsites B. Or venture off to the Conecuh! We have a privately owned beached levee, equipped with white sand, picnic tables, and port-a-let,  perfect for the catfish lover. (Motor-less watercrafts are welcome.)

Okay so you don't ride or fish then bring your golf clubs and try out our new Driving Range. Golf balls are available at the office.

Forget something or want to stay a little longer? Have no fear; our office is also a supply store. We carry feed, hay, tack, buckets, fly spray, vet supplies, snacks, drinks, batteries, grilling essentials, firewood, etc.

Heart of Dixie Trail Ride is open 365 days a year and is all privately owned, so you need not worry about hunters or bothersome ATVs.

If you live in the area, come just for a day ride. If you're just passing through, use us as a horse motel. If you need a conventional place for your show, clinic, organized trail ride, church retreat etc., consider us for your host.

Whatever your reason for coming to Troy, we hope that you will come join us around the campfire. We promise you'll enjoy your stay.
